How location is specified
You specify your destination area as a part of the world map.
The world map is divided into 5x5 parts, each one denoted by a single letter. Each resulting part is then divided again, again, ... and again, until an area of few square meters is reached.
The way the part originates from the whole map of the world is described by the part identifier.
Example: Ethelstown lies in parts #26bv6c, #26bv6d, #26bv9p, #26bv9q of the world map.
To specify an area where to search accommodation deals, you can select up to 2x2 parts at any zoom level.
Define your destination area
- Enter your destination and select one of the suggested locations.
- Your destination will be shown on the map. If necessary, adjust the map position or map zoom level.
- Select up to 2x2 adjacent map parts. A part is selected/deselected by clicking on the respective tile in the map.
- Click "Deals" button to reload hotel deals related to the defined location.
Check the only local checkbox to search accommodation deals only within the area of Ethelstown. Otherwise, all hotels in selected parts of the world map will be scanned, including properties outside Ethelstown.
