How location is specified

You specify your destination area as a part of the world map.

The world map is divided into 5x5 parts, each one denoted by a single letter. Each resulting part is then divided again, again, ... and again, until an area of few square meters is reached.

The way the part originates from the whole map of the world is described by the part identifier.

Example: Ortigia lies in the part #2n6kb7z8 of the world map.

To specify an area where to search accommodation deals, you can select up to 2x2 parts at any zoom level.

Define your destination area

1. Enter your destination and select one of the suggested locations.
2. Your destination will be shown on the map. If necessary, adjust the map position or map zoom level.
3. Select up to 2x2 adjacent map parts. A part is selected/deselected by clicking on the respective tile in the map.
4. Click "Deals" button to reload hotel deals related to the defined location.

Check the only local checkbox to search accommodation deals only within the area of Ortigia. Otherwise, all hotels in selected parts of the world map will be scanned, including properties outside Ortigia.

Find the top hotel deals in any part of the world

1. Enter the date of your stay (check-in and check-out date).
2. Specify your hotel preferences.
3. Specify your destination — move the map over your destination area using location search and map controls (map zooming & map panning). Click a map tile to select a destination area – a part of the world map.
4. Click to the "Deals" button. Top 20 current deals from all matching hotels will be shown, sorted by the total cost of your stay, the cheapest offer listed first.

Simultaneous search in multiple locations

You specify the destination area simply by selecting a part of the world map. All destinations and all hotels within the selected area will be searched through.

Find the best deal — tips

If no deal is found, try broadening your hotel preferences. Include also other hotel classes or choose lower minimal review score.

On the other hand, if you get many cheap deals, try searching again, this time requesting more luxurious hotels with higher rating.

Select smaller or larger area to get less or more deals, respectively.
